Results from the St Luke Science Fair
Wednesday, February 3, 2010

St Luke put on a terrific science fair this year. It was a most interesting day for the students, the judges, and for the folks at St Luke that planned and managed the fair.

Judges were given their assignments shortly after arrival, after 8:00AM. Judging started at 9:15 and the initial judging was finished at 11:30. While judges had a great lunch, the St Luke staff compiled and sorted out the results of the mornings judging. The top 10 projects then were presented to a large team of judges and the winners selected.

The results were made known to the students at 7:00 PM that evening.

This was a fine science fair and it was enjoyed by all who participated.

The projects were divided into biological and physical and judged that way. The winners are listed below.

The following message of appreciation has been received from the St Luke Science Fair Coordinator:

Dear Science Fair Judges,

Thank you so much for your time and expertise on February 3. Everyone was thrilled with the smoothness and professionalism you demonstrated. The students really enjoyed meeting each of you. Thanks again for being willing to encourage their efforts in their particular scientific fields of study.

We hope you enjoy our school mug as a token of our gratitude. We also hope you got plenty to eat and enjoyed our SUPER BOWL of lunches.

God bless you all and have a very Happy Valentine's Day.

Fondly,
Mary Ellen Ball
St. Luke Science Fair Coordinator
